Vince Cable MP, the Leader of the Liberal Democrats, will be in Hythe village centre on Saturday morning, 20th April, to meet local people and congratulate Liberal Democrat campaigners on a strong, positive campaign for the local elections on May 2nd.

Vince is due to arrive in Hythe High Street, outside the Waitrose supermarket, for 11am where he will be greeted by local campaigners and available for photographs and press interviews.

The Liberal Democrats are contesting 28 seats across the New Forest, mainly in head to head contests with the ruling Conservatives.

Cllr. David Harrison, Leader of the New Forest District Liberal Democrats, says “We are all delighted that Vince has offered to join us and support our campaign.

It’s also a chance for local people to meet him. It promises to be a great boost!”
