Thank you for positive feedback
Thank you for all the really positive feedback that I have received about the manifesto document.
As a local political party, we had a really hard think about the things that would help improve the lives of local people.
There are some things that benefit everybody such as “improving air quality”, other things that benefit some people such as “freezing council tax” and “creating a new country park” and other things that would help support smaller groups such as “discounted bus travel for younger people”.
I am pleasantly surprised at the absence of negative comment now that the document has been drawn together and publicised.
If nothing else, people can be clear about what we stand for. There are clear reasons to vote for the Liberal Democrats in the forthcoming elections.
What are the reasons for supporting the other parties? I can’t honestly say I know…..
