SUPPORT THE CAUSE
A lot of people ask how they might support the project to restore the passenger service along the Waterside.
Here is one way…. on Wednesday, 26th February at 7.30pm, Nick Farthing, Chairman of the Three Rivers Community Rail Partnership, will be presenting an update on the project to Hythe & Dibden Parish Council, The Grove, Hythe.
It is hoped that a vote will be taken by Councillors to express strong support for the campaign.
Members of the public are permitted to attend the meeting and witness what happens. It would be marvellous to see supporters of the project attending to let the Council members know you want this service up and running!
Might be a good idea to attend early as space is limited and we have no means of knowing how many people will show up. Apologies, in advance, if it is hard or impossible to get in.
As part of the continuing campaign, we have offered to present an update to Fawley Parish Council, Marchwood Parish Council, Totton & Eling Town Council and New Forest District Council.

Elsewhere, I noticed it wasn't happening, particularly with some young people. I think part of the problem is that they like to rebel against authority or any sort of…
FISH EATERS If you are fortunate, a walk around the Salmon Leap in Totton, might afford you a sight of two fish eating birds. The one with a red head is a female Goosander whilst the beautiful bird with pure white plumage is a Little Egret.
SOCIAL ISOLATION I spotted this donkey and kept my distance, as requested. Rushington Manor Residents Association have recruited some volunteers to help anyone on the Estate who need help whilst isolating themselves. If you know of anybody needing a bit of help with shopping, or any donkey work, let me know and I will happily…
FOOD BANK HELP I have been in touch with the team who organise the food bank at Testwood Baptist church, Totton. They are still continuing the excellent work but would appreciate any donations. I am organising a grant from my own community engagement budget and am asking the administration at New Forest District Council (once…
