Councillor Davod Harrison

Space Suits and Council Candidates

Space Suit
Space Suit

A lot of people are quite rightly saying that the lack of female sized space suits that have interfered with a space walk reveals something about how things are often geared in favour of men over women.

I have often considered that we still live in a male dominated society. I don’t think it will ever change until we see more women step up and assume positions of power.

I have tried very hard indeed to support and select female candidates for the forthcoming elections, but with limited success. Many women are already very busy and reluctant to commit, even to the minimum of one meeting a month (Town Council level).

There are a few days left… if there are any Totton residents, especially female ones, that share my Liberal values and feel that they can do a little bit to make our Town a better place by becoming a Councillor.

Private message me and I will happily discuss / answer any questions you may have.
