Robot Grass Cutters

Grass
Grass

I understand that robots that cut your lawn are becoming increasingly popular.

Now, it seems that Hampshire County Council are planning to use robots to cut highway verges.

I can understand the benefits of technology, especially if it means that human beings are put at less risk by passing traffic.

However, it does beg the question… what happens if the robot encounters something it didn’t expect?

It’s not hard to imagine a scenario where the robot is ruined when it comes across material that has recently been fly tipped by somebody who has decided to avoid the costs of using the tip for commercial reasons.
