POSTAL VOTING

At present, the Government and local Authorities are saying that elections will still go ahead in May. I don't think they will. It's hard to see how potential candidates can get signatures on nominations forms without them turning into super spreader events, let alone all of the difficulties with campaigning.

That said, it's good to see that the District Council have finally pressed the button on advertising the benefits of registering for postal voting. Here is the graphic they have released today. I strongly recommend that everybody applies. It is the best chance of ensuring you will be able to safely vote.

WATCHING BIRDS, WATCHING ME…

WATCHING BIRDS, WATCHING ME I spent a happy hour on the allotment today. It didn’t do much. I often get distracted by nature all around me. Today, it was mainly the fault of these two characters, Malcolm Magpie and Kevin Kestrel. Maybe they were both hoping I would disturb a mouse or a vole…..
