Councillor Davod Harrison

Pedestrian Hazard

pedestrian-hazard

At a recent meeting of residents in Eling, I was told about the hazard of cyclists coming down the hill and failing to stop or even slow down as they reach the pavement along Eling Lane.

Apparently, there have been a few “near misses” with pedestrians.

I have reported the hazard to Hampshire Highways (using the Hantsweb facility).

I am hoping that they will install something that will force cyclists to slow right down as they approach the pavement.
