New Weed Policy
I have learnt a harsh lesson in recent days.
It’s about communication.
A few weeks ago, I decided that I would invest some time in improving the flower display in my rear garden.
This involved a trip to Cadnam garden centre, buying seeds, trays and the necessary growing compost.
I have a small greenhouse, so carefully set everything up and regularly watered the seed trays for 3-4 weeks before “potting on” and then finally, transferring them to the garden when I thought that the danger of frost had passed.
Unfortunately, I failed to communicate what I had done to another family member (who shall remain nameless).
As a result, I venture out into my garden to check on progress only to find that all of my efforts have been undone by somebody who thought “they would do a bit of weeding”!!!
Agghhh…. and I only have myself to blame.
My new weed policy is to improve my communication.

It’s a very time for the conservative party and for democracy generally. With one New Forest Tory MP voting “Yes” to the Brexit deal and another voting “No”, they lose the ability to blame anyone else but themselves.
Despite possessing an “A” level in Economics and studying “Quantitative methods” on my way to becoming a Chartered Insurer, I still don’t fully understand statistics and sometimes have to listen to two friends who are economists and are prepared to patiently explain to me how something works, or how reliable a statistic actually is.
