“NEW” Town Council and fresh green shoots…

Green Shoots
Green Shoots

I took this picture in the New Forest today.

It seemed to form an association in my mind with fresh green shoots and the first meeting of the new Totton & Eling Town Council.

The fresh green shoots represent the new members who have just been elected for the first time.

The surrounding Oaks and Beech trees are the veterans who can help shape and guide them.

There was a good vibe with expressions of a willingness to put political affiliations aside and for us all to work in the best interests of the Town.

The new Chairman rightly said that we can sometimes “agree to disagree”, but we should really try to do what is best for Totton, the largest town in the New Forest.
