Met Office issues weather warning for heavy rain
WEATHER WARNING
There is a weather warning in place, with heavy rainfall expected in a few days. Ground conditions are already fairly saturated. I checked yesterday, there are still some sandbags that residents concerned about flooding can use, sitting on a pallet outside the Claymeadow depot at Hounsdown Avenue, Totton.
The team at Hampshire Highways are treating drainage as a priority for the coming weeks. However, this won't go very far in tackling the inadequate drainage system we have locally.

THE New Forest and Christchurch have been included in a forecast for heavy rain to hit a swathe of the south coast in the coming days.
