Meetings and Supporting Local Hostelleries – Video

There are a few things that I feel strongly about supporting.

One of them is “local pubs”.

It isn’t really a very hard thing to do.

I am not the sort of person who can spend an evening drinking several pints of beer, but I do enjoy company and an odd pint now and again.

The thing about pubs is that a lot of them are struggling to survive.

I fear that if more of them go out of business we will have lost one of those things that is so important for our culture.

They are meeting places where people gather, usually in a very relaxed manner. Sometimes you have to walk the walk.

It is no good talking about the importance of pubs if you don’t use them.

I am so pleased that my party, the Liberal Democrats, agreed to meet up on a regular basis in pubs at different locations all around the New Forest.

It doesn’t feel like a chore and it isn’t!
