Lib Dem Councillor Caroline Rackham
Lib Dem Councillor Caroline Rackham

It was great to meet up with fellow Lib Dem Councillor, Caroline Rackham today.

She is such a positive force!

We met up at the Heritage Centre Cafe´to discuss a range of projects including further tree planting projects at Bartley Park, the Lantern Parade, how to respond to new Tory charges for permissions to display banners for public events, car parking issues, how to access some money for public art and progress with the Neighbourhood Plan – a vision for developing the town in future years.

Even the toughest of challenges can be overcome with good positive thinking and it makes such a refreshing change from many of the other day to day exchanges, where I just get fobbed off, or told “No”.
