I have spent a small part of my Sunday morning trying to address a very serious housing issue, with rain water running down the inside of a council flat in Testwood, occupied by a family of four with two young children.
I was sent video of water cascading out of light fittings and electrical sockets.
I have made a few calls. Somebody is on site now, hopefully dealing with the situation.
Quite apart from shortage of housing, there are also big questions over the standard of housing that many local residents have to put up with up, with all sorts of health implications.
