Live in the New Forest district? How do you fancy a Conservative plan for local government re-organisation that puts us in a new arrangement called "Greater Southampton?"
An organisation called Centre for Cities has published a draft plan showing what the "more efficient" template for local government could look like.
All this may come to pass well after I have retired from local government.
Possibly the worst outcome is what happened last time… a cool £1 million of your money spent on consultants and officer time, with different tiers of government fighting each others' plans… with no change at the end of it.
