Doing The Spadework

Allotment Gates
Allotment Gates

The excellent people at the Totton Allotments and Gardens Association have very generously agreed to supply, at cost, all of the compost needed to supply the planters for new floral displays in Totton Town centre.

I went to see them this morning to “seal the deal”, as part of a project I am working on with fellow Town Councillors, Neville Penman, Arthur Davis and Caroline Rackham.

The Association are a great bunch of people.

They don’t always get the recognition they deserve.

They do a lot of great work, supporting local schools.
