Does it make a difference?

Focus Leaflet
Focus Leaflet

Where we are able to, the Liberal Democrats generally put out a Focus newsletter on a regular basis.

The limiting factors are that 1) we have to fund it and 2) It takes a lot of time to produce, arrange printing and hand delivery.

A lot of people never vote in any elections. Of the remaining 25% or so that do, many always vote the same way.

Perhaps this explains why most political parties don’t put the effort into staying in touch – You just get a rush of leaflets at election time.

I think we are nearing the day when the only means of engaging with voters will be by social media.

This seems a shame. I rather enjoy walking around the housing estates, chatting to people along the way. “Old School”?
