Council trees and TV Ariels

Totton Town Councillors have confirmed their policy of not trimming trees to accommodate TV reception.

A resident in Totton is having problems getting a good signal because of the presence of council owned trees that are blocking his reception.

He asked that Councillors consider changing the policy so that the trees would be cut back.

After a very brief discussion at the Amenities Committee meeting this week, it was resolved not to change the policy.
