All Is Well With Marchwood’s Silent Soldier And Suffragette Tribute

I have today been contacted by Councillor Rob Humby, the man in charge of the highways portfolio at Hampshire County Council.

I am pleased to say that he has asked the Parish Council to complete the application process and that there will, after all, be no charge, for the necessary authorisation.

As I made clear in previous posts, I don’t think there was ever any intention to charge… it was just an unintended consequence of introducing a new on-line permit system.
