A GOVERNMENT OF COWBOYS

Did you ever imagine that we would have five former Prime Ministers denouncing the current government for an apparent willingness to break the law?

What an earth will be the consequence of our international reputation, built up over generations, for being trusted?

If the government can decide to break the law "in a very specific way", doesn't that also mean we can do so?

This is worse than the Dominic Cummings – "30 mile drive to Barnard Castle to test my eyesight" excuse.

Who now thinks that Brexit is still worth it?

I got in touch with the Clinical…

STEADY ON GENTLEMAN Be very careful, Presidential Candidates, from what I saw of the debate, you are both in danger of giving politics a bad name.

JUMPER v HEATING…

JUMPER v HEATING I have to say that I favour wearing a jumper (or even two jumpers) over switching on the heating at home. I take a certain masochistic pride in not having the heating on (not particularly shared by my wife), but I really like the thought of saving money and helping save the…

UNDERMINING RESTRICTIONS…

UNDERMINING RESTRICTIONS A most unexpected development…. when you look across social media and TV / Radio interviews and press articles, the politicians rebelling against government restrictions intended to slow the spread of the virus are mostly Conservative back bench MP's. I cannot recall many instances of Labour or Lib Dem politicians refusing to go along…
