25th Anniversary Celebration

Ray 25th Anniversary
Ray 25th Anniversary

I met some old friends and some new ones too at the 25th Anniversary Celebration of “Youth & Families Matter”, held in Totton tonight.

This is a picture of Ray, the Chair of the trustees, welcoming guests and thanking everyone for being part of this splendid organisation that has done so much for the local community in the last quarter of a century.

I really enjoyed meeting people and finding out about the work they have been doing, as well as listening to an inspiring speech from a young lady who had experienced bullying at school, as well as a challenging family situation but has grown up and made a success of her life, having been supported by the charity.

It was a real privilege to spend a bit of time celebrating the help they have delivered to thousands of local people. Here’s to the next 25 years!

Brexit : Deal Or No Deal?

I am guessing here, but suspect that the majority of people who voted in the referendum are getting mightily fed up with the way “Brexit” is happening.
