Frustrating (And Dangerous) Delay…

delay = hazard

It’s great news that Hounsdown Avenue finally got the long overdue resurfacing work.

However, a number of residents quickly complained about a new hazard that has been created, the deep dips in the road where the manhole covers are located.

Residents are right to express concerns, it’s a particular hazard to anyone riding a bike or motorcycle. It could also damage a suspension or tyre on a car.

I notified Hampshire Highways of this two weeks ago. I am surprised they leave roads like this.

It’s inviting an accident.

I will keep pressing for them to remedy the situation.
