Dolphin at Eling

Dolphin

Reports are coming in, that there is a dolphin swimming up and down the River Test, currently between Eling & Marchwood.

At first, I thought this might be “fake news”, but it seems that a pod of dolphins was spotted off Lymington earlier in the week and it is thought likely that this individual has split from the group and got lost.

There was a lot of excitement earlier in the year when a seal appeared at The Salmon Leap, but this news trumps that – quite remarkable.

This is a stock photo, so do send me one of the original dolphin if you can spot it!
