Why are Cats less valued than Dogs?
The answer is that they are not. Many, many, people prefer cats to dogs as pets.
It therefore seems strange that the law requiring people to report incidents involving death or injury to cats is entirely different.

It’s quite heartbreaking.
I understand that the driver may not have been in any way at fault.
Possibly, they may not of even been aware but I like to think that if they had known, they would have made some effort to trace the owner.

A petition has been raised, requesting a slight amendment to the existing law.
Previous attempts have failed.
